Gerry Tindle
Gerry Tindle,76, of Cleveland, MS, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 25, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. A visitation honoring Mr. Tindle will be held at 1:00p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS with a celebration of life service following at 2:00p.m. at Ray Funeral Home.
Gerry was born on November 24, 1943, to Clyde and Mary Evelyn Tindle in Cleveland, MS. On January 28, 1967, he married Lynette Satchfield Tindle in Cleveland, MS. Gerry grew up in Cleveland, MS where he attended and graduated from Cleveland High School. After graduating high school, he attended Delta State University, and graduated with a Bachelor's in Education. He taught school for five years until joining the family business at T&T Trucking where he became the owner for over forty years. Mr. Gerry Tindle enjoyed gardening and working in the yard as well as supporting his three children and six grandchildren. He never missed the grandchildrens' sporting events, and he loved to travel and camp with his wife, Mrs. Lynette.
He is preceded by his parents, Clyde and Mary Evelyn Tindle.
Gerry is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Lynette Satchfield Tindle; son, Gerald Tindle (Lindsey) of Madison, MS, daughters; Glenda Tindle Otts (Chip), Allison Tindle Strongosky (Eric), brothers; Gregg Tindle (Patsy) of Meadville, MS, Garth Tindle (Rosemary) of Senatobia, MS, grandchildren; Kamryn Otts, Kellar Otts, Lindsey Strongosky, McCain Tindle, Hayes Tindle, and Tatum Tindle.
The pallbearers will be Kellar Otts, Peyton Chambers, Todd McLemore, Scott Fuquay, Caleb Smith, and Loyd McDowell.
The service will be officiated by Brother Robert Hill.
