Mrs. Gladys Fletcher Cobb, 86, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at her home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at North Cleveland Cemetery.
Gladys was born on May 10, 1932, to Palmer and Garner Fletcher in Cleveland, MS. On June 17, 1952, she married David Wesley Cobb in Cleveland, MS. She loved to read, especially her Bible every morning. Gladys enjoyed playing board games with her sister like Skipbo, Scrabble, and Dominoes. She was a faithful parishioner of Midsouth Baptist Church. Her life revolved around her family who she described as her joy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Cobb; parents, Palmer and Garner Fletcher; brother, Palmer Fletcher; and sisters, Otell Cobb and Louise Hollingsworth.
Gladys is survived by her son, Miles Cobb of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Donna Cobb of Greenville; and grandson, Wess Cobb of Greenville.
Memorials may be made to the Mississippi Children's Home Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
