Glenda Malone

Glenda Malone, 79, of Cleveland, MS, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2024, in Cleveland, Mississippi. The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. July 27, 2024, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland. Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS. Glenda was born on November 25, 1944, in Minter City to Gilse and Opal Banks.Throughout her life, Glenda found joy and fulfillment in her hobbies and interests, particularly during her time spent at Nell's Beauty Salon for 12 years. She loved gardening and being outdoors. Glenda is survived by her son, Ed Horton and his wife Lara of West Helena, Arkansas; grandchildren Chandler and his wife Summer, and Cadance Horton; great-grandchildren Hazen Horton and Marciss Gerky; sisters, Joy Upton and Wanda Parson; brothers, Ricky and Danny Banks. In remembrance of Glenda's life, her memory will forever live on through those who knew and loved her. She now rests peacefully alongside her parents Gilse and Opal Banks, sisters, Annette Warner, Barbara Counts, and Gail Roncali; brothers, Herman and Alex Banks. May she be remembered for her kindness, hard work, and the love she shared with her family. Glenda Malone leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew her.
