Gloria Vazquez Edwards

Gloria V. Edwards, 61, of Memphis, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Ike Raley officiating. Interment will follow in Shaw Cemetery. Mrs. Edwards was born in Cleveland, MS on November 3, 1953, to Fransisco Vazquez and Erlinda Soliz Vazquez. She worked as a graphic designer for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fransisco and Erlinda Vazquez and brother, Emilio Vazquez. She is survived by her children, Tina M. Jones (Michael) of Mumford, TN, Tonia Scheafer (Jason Trull) of Brighten, TN, Kenny Lee Erskin Edwards (Amanda) of Southaven, and Lindsey Jo Edwards of Brighten, TN; grandchildren, Brittany Tiner, Isabel Jones, Gabriel Jones, and Michael Jones, Jr., all of Mumford, TN, Brandon Hawkins of Hernando, Holly Fisher and Austin Fisher both of Brighten, TN, Tyler Watkins of Memphis, Keagan Edwards, Dalton Day and Emma Edwards all of Southaven; one great-grandchild: Payton Fisher of Mumford, TN; siblings, Esperanza Palacious (Eddie) of Shaw, Frank Vazquez (Rita) of Southaven, Mary Edwards (Tommy) of Southaven, George Vazquez (Lisa) of Summerville, TN, Sylvia Vazquez (Tomas Rodelo) of Boyle, and Alice Northen (Mat) of North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. net
