Harold Lum

Harold Lum 91 of Pace, MS was called home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2023.
A visitation honoring Mr. Lum will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service follow at 1:00 p.m. in Ray Funeral Home on Sunday. Graveside will proceed in the New Cleveland Cemetery.

Harold was born on March 24, 1932, in Pace, MS., to his late parents, Henry T Lum & Chu Shee Lum. Harold grew up in Pace until at a young age moving to Arkansas where he attended and graduated from Marianna High School. Harold went on to attend University of Memphis which was formerly Memphis State College where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in business. Harold moved back home to work in the family business, and eventually took over. In Harolds spare time he was an avid fisherman who loved in the summertime to take his children fishing.

Harold is preceded in passing by his parents, Henry & Chu Shee Lum; his siblings, Ellen Lee, James Lum, Eugene Lum, Josephine Wong, and George Lum; son-in-law, Nathan Chu. 

Harold is survived by his loving wife, Kit Lum of 57 years; children, Linda Chu of Mobile, AL., Robert Lum of Pace, MS, Sandra Lum of Cleveland, TN, and Rodney (Judy) Lum of Bartlett, TN; grandchildren, Nolan Chu and Maizy Lum; siblings, Daniel Lum of Honolulu, HI, and Doris Jean Moy of Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Sue Lum and Lien Lum.
