Harvey Ferri

Harvey Lester Ferri, aged 69, of Cleveland, MS, was embraced by the Lord on February 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. His passing marks the end of a remarkable journey filled with love, devotion, and unwavering spirit.

A visitation to honor Mr. Ferri will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM, at Ray Funeral Home. The service will conclude with a graveside ceremony at North Cleveland Cemetery, where friends and family can gather to remember and celebrate a life well-lived.

Born on September 16, 1955, in Cleveland, MS, to the late Victor and Bernice Crocker Ferri, Harvey grew up in a loving family that nurtured his strong work ethic and deep-rooted values. He graduated from Cleveland High School before embarking on a fulfilling career at Cives Steel, where he dedicated over 38 years of his life to maintenance, epitomizing resilience, and dedication. In the summer of 1974, Harvey married his beloved wife, Ann Ferri, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter, celebrating fifty years of marriage. A devoted family man, he cherished time spent with his grandsons, nurturing lasting memories through shared adventures in hunting and fishing.

Harvey's legacy is one of kindness and sacrifice; he was always ready to do whatever it took to support his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ann, and their sons, Steve (Nicole) Ferri of Shaw, MS, and Blake Crocker of Cleveland, MS. He is also survived by his brother, Don Ferri of Drew, MS; sisters, Sheila (Benny) Haynes of Drew, MS, Anita Sauerwein of Cleveland, MS, Cindy (Harold) Register of Cleveland, MS, and Vivian (Gene) Cobb of Cleveland, MS. Harvey's spirit lives on in his grandchildren, Suede (Lora) Ferri, Noah (Malorie) Ferri, Blake Crocker Jr., Carter Crocker, and Phoebe Ferri, as well as his great-grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Sophia, Myra, and Kohen Ferri.

He was preceded in death by his loving father, Victor, his cherished daughter, Tiffany Crocker, and his brother, Walter Ferri.

As we mourn the loss of Harvey, we also celebrate the incredible life he led and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His love, laughter, and dedication to family will forever remain in our hearts.
