Hazel Marie Tedford

Mrs. Hazel Marie Tedford, 90, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at Bolivar Medical Center. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery with Bro. Ike Raley officiating. Mrs. Tedford was born in Boyle, MS, on July 5, 1927, to Monroe and Molly Steed. She married James Davis and they had two daughters and a son, Sandra, Charlotte, and Jimmy together. After his passing, she married Glenn Tidwell. Later he passed away and in 1976, she married Earl Lynn Tedford. Mrs. Hazel worked for over 20 years on the assembly line at Baxter Laboratories. She was a member of Yale Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed life on Beulah Lake and spent most of her time at her cabin there. In her spare time she loved working in her yard, going "junking" at yard sales, and she was known for taking care of her friends, family, and stray animals. She was an all around wonderful woman. She is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Molly Steed; husbands, James Davis, Glenn Tidwell, and Earl Tedford; stepson, Mack Tidwell; and siblings, Pearl Robinson, Merle Dreher, Dewitt Steed, Edward Steed, Sgt. Carlee Steed, James Steed, Bill Steed, Raymond Steed, Lillian Bingham, Estel Steed, and Bernice Steed. Mrs. Tedford is survived by her daughters, Sandra Bonney (Rob) of Auburn, Al and Charlotte Sappington of Cleveland; son, Jimmy Davis (Sharon) of Cleveland; step-son, Buz Tidwell (Ronnie) of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Bennie Williams, Sherry Williams Pollan (Eric), Tracey Davis, Alice Nelson (Greg), Jason Sappington (Dusty), James Bonney (Courtney), and Mindy Sappington; numerous step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Talmage Steed (Dorsey) of Gluckstadt and Ruby Steed Horton of Arkansas; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bennie Williams, Eric Pollan, Jesse Bingham, Jason Sappington, Harvey Dreher, and Greg Dreher. Honorary pallbearers are James "Jimmy" Davis, James Bonney, Jeff Dreher, Tanner Rocconi, Rob Bonney, and Buz Tidwell.
