James Medders

James Derwood Medders, Jr., 69, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Celebration of life service will be, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Rev. Steve Roberts officiating. Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery immediatley following the services.
Mr. Medders was born November 6, 1942 to James Derwood Medders, Sr. and Mildred Mitchell Medders in Boyle, Ms. He married Linda Arnold, December 31, 1975 in Cleveland, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Medders of Cleveland, MS; three sons, James D. Medders, III of Brandon, MS, Richard Medders (Kate) of Boyle, MS and Kevin Medders (Renell) of Atoka, TN; mother, Mildred Tounzen of Sanford, FL; sister, Charlotte (Roy) Bradley of Oxford, MS, two brothers, Mickey (Chris) Medders of Portland, OR and Bobby Medders of Anaheim, CA, sisters, Debbie (Johnny) Jones, and Melissa Medders; brothers, Randy (Kim) Medders and Bo (Dorothy) Medders; grandchildren, Justin Medders of Terry, MS, Ryan Medders of Ft. Bragg, NC, Spencer Medders of Boyle, MS. Jason Medders of Atoka, TN, Morgan Medders of Atoka, TN, Matthew Riggins, Spencer Riggins, Joshua Riggins and Hunter Riggins all of Boyle, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Medders, Justin Medders, Marcie Mullins, Ryan Medders, Matt Riggins and Josh Riggins.
