Jane Sheedy Grimmett

Jane Sheedy Grimmett, 75, of Louisville, MS, formally of Cleveland, MS, passed away surrounded by family Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Winston Medical Center. A visitation will be held at 1:00 on Monday, November 23, 2015 followed by a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Jane was born in Weir, MS in 1940. After attending Cleveland High School, she joined the United States Airforce in October of 1958, and served her country as an Airman until May of 1962. Jane began her career at West Implement in Cleveland in 1970 where she worked until her retirement in 2006. After retirement, she moved to Louisville, MS to be closer to her family. She spent her retirement enjoying the company of her daughters, grandchildren, and family.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Henry Sheedy. She is survived by 2 daughters, Brandy Bramlett of Austin, TX and Kelly Smith (William) of Louisville, MS; 3 sisters Joann Cole and Carolyn Roberts of Fort Worth, TX and Mimi Ingram of Cleveland, MS; 5 grandchildren Jordan and Jalaine Smith of Louisville, MS, Alexis Green, Shelby Bramlett and Tyler Bramlett of Austin, TX, and 1 great granddaughter Jade Bramlett of Austin, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN or the charity of your choice.
