Mrs. Janet Loraine Jones Fisher, 53, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Phyllis Milan officiating. Interment will be in Indianola Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Janet was born in Jackson, MS, on February 17, 1964, to Steve Jones and Helen Lillian Moore Jones. On December 31, 2012, she married Douglas Fisher in Monticello, AR. She worked for many years as a waitress, and in her spare time she enjoyed making flower arrangements, doing arts and crafts, traveling, and caring for her husband. She loved collecting light houses and crosses, being with her family; and most importantly, she loved the Lord above all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Helen Jones.
Janet is survived by her husband, Douglas Fisher of Cleveland; daughters, Regina Stewart (Matt) of Greenville, Monica Holmes (Dale) of Caledonia, Bennie Rodgers (Leia) of Greenville, and Wade Rodgers of Greenville; Eleven loved grandchildren; siblings, Terry Jones (Shelia) of Senatobia, Bobby Jones of D'Lo, Wanda Kelley (Marion) of Wayside, Helen Burns (Barry) of Greenville, David Jones (Joanie) of Oxford, Jeffery Jones of Cleveland, and Mylissa Jones of Cleveland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Floyd Arbuckle, Ike Arbuckle, Clint Jones, Klint Fausnight, Deb Fausnight, Frank Michaels, Matt Stewart, and Dale Holmes.
