Janice Yvonne Tindle Fullen, 63, of Cleveland, MS, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Memphis, TN. Janice was born on Sunday, March 5, 1961, in El Centro, CA. She was the fourth of five children raised by Cecil Eugene and Patty Baynes Tindle in Cleveland. Janice was a long-time resident of Bolivar County.
Janice Fullen was known for her generous smile and contagious laughter. Janice always greeted everyone with open arms and a smile on her face. All that one in need had to do was ask her for help and she would give it her best.
Janice was blessed with many talents and skills which led her to volunteer for numerous organizations, one of which was the Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland where she was a Life member. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, MS. Another passion that Janice had was her love for girls’ softball. That drew her to volunteer for many years as an amazing softball coach for T-Ball all the way up to 14-year-olds for the recreation softball teams with the Cleveland Park Commission. She made tireless efforts to also raise funds for various equipment, facilities and supplies that benefited the youth. The majority of Janice’s working career was spent in an administrative role managing a dental office, a nursing home and various other medical systems.
Janice loved her family immensely, even family members that she claimed, who didn’t share DNA with her. Janice’s son and daughter and their families gave her great joy. She may be gone from us now, but her memory will live on. The biggest pride and joy came when Janice became a grandmother in 2016. She lovingly began answering to the name “Maw Maw.”
Janice is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Patty Tindle and two brothers Jimmy Wayne Tindle and Stephen Lee Tindle.
Janice is survived by her two children, Jana Michelle Nicholson and Jacob Buck Fullen (Preslea) both of Cleveland, her two precious grandchildren, Tindle Lake Nicholson and Marlea Ann Fullen, and her friend C. Bruce Fullen. She also leaves behind three siblings Sharon Tindle Aguzzi (John) of Cleveland, Cecil Allen Tindle (Raanne) of Madison and James Allen Tindle of Ohio. In addition, Janice leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, as well as treasure of friends that she loved dearly.
A visitation in honor of Janice Fullen will be held at First Baptist Church on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Internment will immediately follow at the North Cleveland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has selected donations be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692; or at www.heart.org/donate.
