Mrs. Jennifer Logan Powell, 38, of Jackson, passed away July 10, 2013 at her home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 2:00 Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Rosedale with Celebration of Life Services immediately following beginning at 3:00 with Pastor Robison officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. Powell was born on July 6, 1975 to Jerry Logan and Janice Glaze Findley. She graduated Culinary Art School in Hyde Park, NY. She spent her time working as a chef at various restaurants in New Orleans and in the Jackson area. She was also a loving mother.
She is survived by her husband, Waymon Powell; parents, Janice Glaze Findley (Allen), and Jerry Logan (Ruby); children, Sara Beth Walley, Addison Walley, Joshua Powell, Zola Lynn and Lucille Louise Powell; grandmother, Zola "Tubby" Glaze; sisters, Leanne Robinson (Randy), Laura Katherine Logan, and Alyssia Cole Logan; special uncle and aunt, Jack and Kathy Glaze.
