Jerry Daugherty

Jerry Lynn Daugherty passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at his home in Drew, MS.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Celebration of life services will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 11 am Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
Jerry graduated from Barton High School and Arkansas State University. He had a successful career serving the agricultural community for over 45 years. Most recently, Jerry was Location Manager for Crop Production Services in Cleveland. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Jerry was blessed with a loving family and a multitude of lifelong friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Okley and Jimmie Daugherty, and his brothers Larry, Johnny, Jackie, and Bobby.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kay Barrett Daugherty, and his children Bryan (Amy) of Hernando, Barrett (Emmie) of Greenwood, and Paige of Drew, and grandchildren Chase, Ayden, Avery, and Jack. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Kay Daugherty of Memphis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sunny Seniors Alzheimers Respite Center at 107 South Victoria Avenue in Cleveland, where Kay is co-director.
