Jerry Gregory

Jerry DeWayne Gregory, 80, of Drew, passed away on October 9, 2015 at home. Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2015, at West Drew Baptist Church from 1-2 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 PM. at West Drew Baptist Church with Brother Rick Milan officiating. Interment will be in Drew Cemetery. Mr. Gregory was born to James Howard Gregory and Katie Dell Mosley on February 18, 1935. He married Barbara Marie Green on August 29, 1956 in Drew, MS. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and worked for Baxter Healthcare for 34 years. He was a member of West Drew Baptist Church and the Drew Masonic lodge. He was a humble man of integrity who loved camping, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jeri Lynn Tolliver of Magnolia, TX; and parents James and Katie Gregory; brothers Charles and Carey Gregory; and sister Joan Gregory Cobb. Mr. Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Barbara Gregory; daughters Cynthia Moment, Vicki Wells, Jeanene Fleming (Jessie) all of Drew; grandson Josh Fleming (Kayla) of Drew, Jerod Fleming (Andrea) of Cleveland, Cole Wells of Oxford, and Kody Tolliver of Magnolia TX; granddaughters Whitney Wells of Nashville, TN, Anna Wells of Spring, TX, and Katy Frasier of Spring, TX; four great-grandchildren Bailee Chandler, Kade Fleming, and Anna Kaylan Fleming all of Drew, and Matthew Fleming of Cleveland; and son-in-law Kirk Tolliver of Magnolia, TX. Pall bears will be Josh, Jerod, Kody, Cole, Patrick McCrory, and Kyle Chandler.
