Jimmy B. Muzzi SHAW - Jimmy Boyd Muzzi, 78, of Shaw, Mississippi, died Tues., Oct. 5, 2021 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Sat., Oct. 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, followed by a rosary and a funeral mass. Burial will follow at Shaw Cemetery. Ray Funeral Home of Cleveland, Mississippi is handling all arrangements. Jimmy was born in Shaw, Mississippi on Nov. 3, 1942. He spent his early career farming, and operating a produce stand, and retired as grounds supervisor for the Delta State University athletic department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Leslie Muzzi, brother, Leslie Muzzi, Jr., sisters, Vicki Hamilton, Stella Durastanti, Zinnie Bueno, and Josephine Reginelli. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josephine "Jo" Rocconi Muzzi, son, Michael Muzzi (Doreen) of Shaw, Miss., three grandchildren, Tyler Muzzi (Bethany) of Cleveland , Miss., Kevin Muzzi of Nashville, Tenn., and Trevor Muzzi of Lebanon, Tenn., and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Ellis and Evie.
