Jimmy Franklin "Frankie" Beach, 65, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013, at his home.
He was born December 12, 1947, to James Noah and Arlene Baker Beach. He attended Cleveland High School. He was a self-employed flooring contractor-known to many as the "best carpet layer ever."
He married Billie Beth Mauldin on November 28, 1968, in Cleveland, He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland and the Benoit Outing Club where he enjoyed boating and fishing with family and friends. He loved his family and spent as much time as he could with them. He enjoyed the "Coffee Drinkers" at McDonnalds.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years; two daughters, Renee Carson (Drew) of Lexington, TN and Elizabeth Beach Ruth (Miller) of Cleveland; son Frank Beach, Jr. of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Ryan Batts (Lena) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Rachel Batts Maness (Brandon) of Lexington, TN, and Bryce Ruth of Cleveland; one great-grandson, "John Marshall"; He also leaves his cherished brother, James H. "Sonny" Beach (Vergia) of Houma, LA.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home with burial at North Cleveland Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dennis Gates, Marcie Mullins, "Bubba" Mallette, Jonathan Vance, Cliff Logan, and David Ware.
Honorary Pallbearers are Stanley Jones, Aubrey Carley, Don Frey, Ed Kossman, Jr., Michael Arnold, Johnny Norquist, and Kathy Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cleveland.
