Jo Hyde Starnes

Mrs. Jo Hyde Starnes, 82, of Drew, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Drew Methodist Church. Celebration of Life Services will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2015, at Drew Methodist Church with Rev. J.C. Hubbard and Rev. Glenn Seefeld officiating. Interment will be in Drew City Cemetery. Mrs. Starnes was born July 19, 1933 to Joseph Thomas Hyde and Helen Smith Hyde. On July 15, 1950 she married J.W. "Bebo" Starnes, Jr in Hernando, MS. She was a homemaker all her life and she enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Starnes is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Thomas Hyde and Helen Smith Hyde; husband, J.W. "Bebo" Starnes, Jr.; grandson, Joseph "Joey" Donald Tribble; and sister, Helen McIntyre Barrow. She is survived by her daughters, Joanna Tribble (Don) of Cascilla and Patricia Starnes Farrish (Henry) of Jackson, MO; three grandchildren, Donna Standridge (Nick), Nathan Yancey and Anna Yancey; and two great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Standridge and Clayton Bryce Standridge. Pallbearers will be David Cole, Ed Cole, Jeff Burchfield, Hayden Burchfield, Nick Standridge, and Henry Farrish. In memory of Mrs. Starnes, memorials can be made to Drew United Methodist Church
