JoAnn Work

JoAnn Elizabeth (Zepponi) Work, 82, passed away on January 21, 2022, in Ruleville, MS. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, with a Rosary to follow at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS. Interment at North Cleveland Cemetery.

JoAnn Work was born on October 26, 1939, in Clarksdale, MS to Fred Zepponi Sr. and Sestilia Agostinelli.

JoAnn married Charles David Work on August 1, 1964, in Clarksdale, MS. She was a loving wife who stayed at home & raised their four children.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. JoAnn enjoyed Mississippi State sports, visiting with her siblings, talking on the phone, & her beauty shop time. Most important, she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Melody Salley (Jim) of Cleveland, MS, Julie Bishop (Ken) of Madison, MS, and Caroline Belvedresi of Leland, MS; son Charles David Work Jr. of Somerville, TN; grandchildren, Stewart Salley, Caroline Salley, John David Bishop, Mitchell Bishop, Hayes Bishop, Mary Scott Bishop, Andrew Belvedresi, Max Belvedresi, Harden Belvedresi, Charles David Work III, and Luke Work; siblings, Fred Zepponi Jr (Celeste), Mamie Zepponi Camponova, and Evelyn Zepponi Harris.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Sestilia Zepponi; loving husband, Charles David Work; brothers, Emilio Zepponi, Roy Zepponi, Frankie Zepponi; sisters, Theresa Zepponi Pongetti, and Grace Zepponi Century; and son-in-law, Andy Belvedresi.
