John Albritton
Mr. John L. "Bubba" Albritton, 58, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Starnes officiating.
Bubba was born May 19, 1956, to Lucious Lee "Pete" Albritton and Evelyn Henderson Albritton. He grew up as a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and worked many years at Champion Gutter as a contractor. He loved to hunt, cook BBQ, and smile all the time. He never met a stranger and people were drawn to him because of his sweet, tender soul and his humor. He was a true delta boy and he had a strong faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lucious Lee Albritton; mother, Evelyn Henderson Albritton; brother, Edward Lee Albritton; nephew, Christopher Albritton; and constant companion, Sandra Jo Carroll.
Bubba is survived by his sons, Gregory Lee Albritton and John Anthony Albritton both of Memphis; granddaughter, Abigal Lee Albritton of Memphis; grandsons, Sean Albritton and Austin Albritton both of Memphis; sister-in-law, Dale Braswell Albritton; and niece, Lori Albritton McCoy.
In Memory of Bubba, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
