Mr. John Randle "Randy" Moody, 55, of Eupora, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Haney officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, MS He was born on September 26, 1959, to Abner Carrol "Stubby" Moody and Wilma Jean Weeks Moody. On April 18, 2005, he married Cynthia Jean Williams in Arkansas. He was a dedicated superintendent at White Construction and worked in construction for 40 years. He loved hunting, singing karaoke, and dancing. His treasure was his family and participating in family reunions; he loved his grandchildren immensely. Some of his fondest memories were those of his time spent with his church family at Interstate Baptist Church in Shaw. Mr. Moody is preceded in death by his father, Abner Carrol "Stubby" Moody; and his brothers, Michael Moody and Larry Moody.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Moody of Eupora; children, Joseph Clay Moody (Holly) of Monticello, AR and Melissa Moody Shaffer (Josh) of Shaw; mother, Wilma Moody of Pontotoc; step-children, Timothy Baker (Lacy) of Eupora, Lucas Baker (Rachel) of Cleveland, and Hunter Baker of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jaymz Mitcham, Brooke Mitcham and Aden Mitcham all of West Monroe, LA, Jon Mayson Baker and Presley Baker both of Eupora, and Ross Baker of Cleveland; brother, Richard Moody (Roylene) of Merigold; sisters, Teresa Norris (Craig) and Beth Moody of Pontotoc; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
