Johnny Mangialardi

Mr. Johnny Mangialardi, 89, of Shelby went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. A visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby, MS. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Interment at Shelby Cemetery.
Johnny was born June 18, 1932, to Augusta & Mary Mangialardi in Shelby, MS. He married Joe Ann Foti on January 18, 1955, devoting the rest of his life to her and their four children. He was owner/manager of Liberty Cash Grocery in Shelby, MS for over 55 years and farmed. Johnny was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Augusta & Mary Mangialardi; wife, Joe Ann Mangialardi; siblings, Alma Strazi, Julia Fava, Flower Mangialardi, Frank Mangialardi, and Paul Mangialardi; grandson, John Michael Correro; son-in-law, Van Sam Correro Jr. Johnny is survived by his children, Jo Lynne Correro, Sheila Ann Buck, John Andrew Mangialardi (Tammie), and Gregory Paul Mangialardi (Terri); grandchildren, Ashley Parsons (Alex), Marcie Patton (Taylor), William Buck (Mary Claire), Andrew Buck (Jessica), Andrew Mangialardi, Anne Mangialardi, Paul Mangialardi, John Finley Mangialardi (Allison), and Alex Mangialardi; as well as six great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby, MS, or the Shelby Cemetery fund.
