Joyce Tolbert

Joyce Elizabeth Whitlock Tolbert, 74, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Linn Baptist Church, Linn MS. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Linn Baptist Cemetery in Linn, MS.

Joyce Elizabeth was born September 24, 1947, in Atlanta, GA to Henry Glen & Mary Lucille Whitlock. She married William "Billy" Tolbert July 17, 1969, in Atlanta, GA. Joyce Elizabeth moved to the Delta in 1986. She worked for Kroger Pharmacy as pharmacy technician for 12 years. Joyce Elizabeth was a volunteer at the Humane Society and a member of Linn Baptist Church.

She predeceased by her parents, Henry Glen & Mary Lucille Whitlock; husband, William "Billy" Tolbert.

Joyce Elizabeth is survived by her son, Bill Tolbert (Christie); granddaughter, Lula Tolbert; sister, Lillie Bell (Dolan); brothers, Gene Whitlock (Hazel) and Randy Whitlock; nephews, David Bell, Wayne Whitlock, Danny Whitlock, Danny Muzzi, Timmy Muzzi, Vince Muzzi Jr., and Bo Muzzi; niece, Dana Sexton.
