Dorothy Juanita Rogers Rollins, 95, passed away at Indywood Estates, Cleveland, MS, June 5, 2020. She was born in Centreville, MS to John Hugh Rogers and Rosa Theodore Poole Rogers on March 28, 1925. She married the love of her life, Joseph Allen Rollins, on December 27, 1946. They are survived by four children, Jane Rogers Rollins Seale (Bill), Emily Jo Rollins Hall (Jerry), Joseph Allen Rollins Jr., Mollie Fletcher Rollins Rushing (Kim), five grandchildren, Daniel Rollins Pearson (Katie), Kevin Scott Pearson (Megan), Forrest Allen Rollins (Leslie), Sally Elizabeth Hall, and Sara Francis Hall, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers, Mary Blanche Marsalis, Mildred Loraine McKnight, Maude Elaine Reynolds, Rosalie Hughrene Turfitt, Clifton Hugh Rogers, Theo Elizabeth Hastings, Richard Jackson Rogers, Patricia Alice Rogers, and one great grandchild, Liam Phillip Pearson. She was a lifelong member of Centreville Baptist Church, Centreville, MS. She was known for her beautiful, heartfelt prayers. Juanita was also well known for her recipes and the Friday night dinners with friends. She loved her family and her friends with great passion. Juanita and Joseph loved to travel and spent many hours walking through the woods and catching fish for supper. They are together now. A celebration of life will be held in Centreville, MS later this summer.
