Judy Franklin Mullins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Mullins 73 of Boyle, MS, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister,  and cherished member of our community. Judy was born on August 10th, 1950, and she peacefully left this world on February 2nd, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation honoring Judy will be held at the Ray Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, from 12:00-1:00P.M. This will be a time for family, friends, and community members to join, share stories, and find solace in their collective grief.

A graveside service will follow after visitation on February 8th, 2024, at 1:30 pm in  the New Cleveland Cemetery. 

Judy was Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta. She was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. Her warm smile and compassionate nature touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Judy dedicated many years of her life as a phone operator for Bellsouth, where her friendly voice and willingness to assist others found her to be well-liked by colleagues and customers alike. Judy’s departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, but her memory will always be engraved in our hearts. Her kindness, selflessness, and everlasting love will forever serve as a guiding light in our lives. May we find comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to watch over us all.
 

Judy is preceded in passing by her parents, EZ & Mary Elizabeth Franklin, her loving husband Oscar Doty Mullins, and one sister Betty Ann Massey.

Judy will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, and is survived by  her two children, Kim and Justin. Kim, along with her husband Mike Lassett, and Justin Mullins., grandchildren, Lori Beth Lassett & Karmen Elise Lassett, siblings, Tommy Franklin, Gerald Franklin, and Harrell Franklin will hold onto countless memories of their mother’s, grandmothers, and sisters,  unwavering love, support, and guidance. Judy's legacy lives on through the lives she nurtured and the values she instilled in her children.
