June Tatum

Ms. Bobbie June Tatum, 79, of Cleveland, MS , passed away at her home Thursday, March 10, 2011. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Owen officiating. Burial will follow at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Ms. Tatum was born in Cleveland on May 31, 1931 to Stephen Lee and Mary Emma Garrett Tatum. She taught history for many years in the Shaw School district. She loved gardening, flowers and yard work. She was a faithful member to the First United Methodist Church of Cleveland, loved music and was a talented pianist.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy Mullen (Frank) of Independence, MS; Nephews, Danny Mullen of Kenner, LA and Allen Mullen of Cherokee Village, AR; Nieces, Kem Mayhan of Southaven, MS, Connie Baker (Jim) of Lake Cormorant, MS and Susan Jenkins (Wes) of Hernando, Ms; and aunt, Eleanor Garrett of Cleveland, MS.
