Kaffey Frazier

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kaffey Frazier, a beloved member of the community, who peacefully left this world on June 28, 2024. A graveside service will be at Beulah Cemetery at 10:30 am Saturday, July 13, 2024. Kaffey was born on December 19, 1950, in Helena, AR, to Allen James “AJ” and Mollie “Toppy” Daniel. Kaffey spent her childhood growing up in “The Hotel” in Rosedale. Her unique upbringing was a source of great pride for Kaffey and was the background of the many of the humorous stories she always shared with family and friends. Kaffey attended and graduated from Rosedale High School. Afterwards, she went to cosmetology school in Greenville, MS where she received her certification and then worked alongside her mother at Toppy’s Beauty Shop and Flower Shop in Rosedale, MS. Later, Kaffey attended Delta State University. Her career path ultimately led her to a 30-year career in banking. She was the manager of the bank in Beulah, became Vice President at First National Bank in Rosedale and ultimately retired from banking at the Valley Bank of Rosedale. Kaffey had an infectious spirit and a remarkable sense of humor. She lit up every room. Kaffey’s charismatic social nature even led her to a short stint working as a blackjack dealer at the casino. Kaffey was also incredibly generous and immensely talented. She was an artist, florist, crafter, gardener, played piano, and she loved to cook and entertain. However, Kaffey’s true passion was painting and she was known for her beautiful Magnolia paintings. Kaffey loved animals, all animals, but especially her fur terriers, Joy and PupPup. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen James “AJ” and Mollie “Toppy” Daniel; husband, Jimmy Frazier; son, James “Buck” Frazier; brother, Tony Daniel. Kaffey is survived by her loving son Allen Jay Frazier, daughter-in-law Brandi Frazier, daughter-in-law Sheila Frazier, grandsons Brian, Brett, Daniel, and Cooper Frazier, as well as her brother, Randy Daniel. In honoring Kaffey’s memory, we will celebrate a life very well lived with gratitude for all Kaffey did for us and with immense appreciation to her caretakers, specifically Sheila Frazier and Natasha Warren.
