Kam Yee Mah "Margie" Wong, passed away peacefully at her home in Boyle on July 8, 2016, at the age of 90. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery. Kam was born in China and came to the United States in 1948 as a newlywed to Steve Wong. They bought a grocery business in Rosedale the next year and lived there until retiring to Boyle in 1984. She had a strong work ethic and was an organized businesswoman as well as a devoted wife and mother. Known for her delicious cooking and her copious supply of Chinese vegetables from her garden, Kam enjoyed sharing. Helping family and friends through difficult times was another expression of her love for others. Besides cooking and gardening, Kam was fond of socializing, reading, watching TV cooking programs, and playing Mah Jong. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mei Ling Mah and her husband, Steve Wee Len Wong. Kam is survived by her son, Raymond L. Wong of Cleveland; daughters, Betsy Wong McCall (George) of Ocean Springs and Daisy Wong-Eigenbrood (Jake) of Blaine, WA; grandson, Steven McCall of Gulfport; granddaughter, Mikki McCall of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Yat Ting Mah Lum of Brooklyn, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
