Karrie Ann Smith

Karrie Ann Lawson Smith, 42, of Rosedale, passed away at her home on Monday, March 2, 2015. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home. Memorial Services will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Haney officiating. Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born on December 30, 1972, to Franklin Lawson and Barbara Ann Lawson. On October 3, 1993, she married Sammie Jerome Smith in Arkansas. She worked for many years as a CNA. A devoted wife and mother, in her spare time she loved to read. The most important thing in her life was her family especially her granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Barbara Lawson; and brother, Woodrow Eugene Lawson. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 22 years, Sammie Smith of Rosedale; daughter, Miranda Lawson of Rosedale; granddaughters, Payton Lawson, Jakayla Lawson, Myasia Lawson, and Kylasia Lawson all of Rosedale; brothers, Joe Franklin Lawson and Herman Thomas Lawson both of Rosedale; and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and nieces and nephews.
