Kathryn "Kay" Muller Sweeden

Kathryn "Kay" Muller Sweeden, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Fort Collins, Colorado. A private graveside service will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, Mississippi, under the direction of Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Kay was born on August 2, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois to Lewis and Lilyan Muller. She was married to her loving husband Emmett Sweeden for 61 years. Kay worked at Bell South and subsequently retired from AT&T in Greenville, Mississippi, after a long career.

Kay was a gentle, kind and loving: wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her daily devotions, reading, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Kay was a devout Christian, and she loved her Lord and Savior.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Fred Muller.

She is survived by her loving daughter Kim Baioni (Keith) of Windsor, Colorado; sons Scott Sweeden (August) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Bruce Sweeden (Debra) of Milton, Georgia; grandaughters Anna Kathryn Baioni, Kathryn Sweeden, Maggie Sweeden, and Sophie Sweeden, and grandsons Brett Baioni and Andrew Baioni. Kay is also survived by her brother Richard Muller (Norma) of Henderson, Nevada, and sister Pat Russell (Guy) of Ocala, Florida.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Baioni, Brett Baioni, Keith Baioni, Bruce Sweeden and Will Lucas.
