Kenneth Derl Dean, 63, of Lenoir City, TN was called home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2021, in Knoxville, TN. A Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday November 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. following visitation. A Graveside Service will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Kenneth was born on November 13, 1958, in Leland, MS to Derl Kenneth Dean & Doris Jean Dean where he attended and graduated from Quartz Hill High School in Bakersfield, CA. He went on to college and received an associate degree. Kenneth married the love of his life on January 15, 1997. Kenneth worked for Humphreys County Memorial Hospital clinic for over 15 years as a Lab Tech until retiring. For many years he was an Assistant Scout Master, for Troop 4042 in Cleveland, assistant Scout Master, and Advanced Chairmen of Troop 354 in Lenoir City, TN. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who loved to camp and hunt, especially with his longtime friend Tommy. Most of all Kenneth loved his family dearly and their family dog, Arya.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Derl Dean & Doris Dean; brother, James Dean.
Kenneth was survived by his loving wife, Elisa Fototana of Lenoir City, TN; sons, Joshua Derl Dean, Daniel Dean, and Adam Dean; grandchildren, Alice Dean and Ava Dean; sister, Tammie McCory.
Bro. Robert Haney will officiate the service.
