Kenneth Paul 'Kenny' Kovarcik

Mr. Kenneth Paul "Kenny" Kovarcik, 61, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, at his home.  Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Kenny was born in Rosenburg, TX, on August 3, 1957, to Paul Emil Kovarcik and Georgia Belle McAnally Kovarcik.  He married Diane Cole in Cleveland, MS, on March 16, 1979.  He worked for over 30 years as a parts salesman for farm equipment. He was a member of Mississippi Athletic Association and Mississippi Private School Association, and he attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid sports fan, and his love for sports carried on by coaching his children and serving as an official in many games. More than anything, he enjoyed any time spent with his grandson, Cole.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul E. Kovarcik and Georgia Belle McAnally Kovarcik; and father-in-law, Joe Cole.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Diane Cole Kovarcik of Cleveland; son, Joel M. Kovarcik of Cleveland;  daughter, Heather K. Miller (Marc) of Cleveland; grandson, Cole Miller of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Debra Cole of Nashville, TN; mother-in-law, Joy Cole of O'Reilly; sister, Paula K. Sherwood of Cleveland; brothers, Donnie Kovarcik of Cleveland and Charlie Kovarcik of Dockery; nieces, Kelsey Kovarcik Spralding (Colby) of Cleveland and Georgia Katelyn Kovarcik of Indianola; nephew, Joey Kovarcik (Melissa) of Chatham; and great-nephew, Pearce Kovarcik of Chatham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chipper Hutchinson, Al Cummins, Marc Miller, Clay Peoples, Joe Giachelli, Howard Clower, David Weeks, Ray Hodges and Michael McCool.
The family would like to send a special thanks to his caregivers especially Ruth Bailey, Jeanette Riley, and Michelle Wooten of North Sunflower Hospice.
In memory of Kenny, the family requests donations made to Creutzfieldt-Jakobs Research Foundation and/or the charity of your choice.
