Kimberly Michelle Callahan, 44, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on April 24, 2017, in Michigan. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the First Assembly of God. Memorial services will immediately following beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the First Assembly of God in Cleveland, MS.
Kim was born in Mobile, AL, on July 27, 1972, to George Hampton Hathcock and Brenda Winstead Hathcock. Kim graduated from Lexington Christian Academy then furthered her education by majoring radiology in Memphis, TN. She was a dedicated worker in her profession in the medical field since 1992. On June 16, 2000, she married Jason Scott Callahan in Dandridge,TN. As a very brilliant woman, she always had a hunger for knowledge and loved learning new things along with doing extensive research. She even recently began working on her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Kimberly had a love for dogs, reading books and comic books, traveling, and enjoyed Netflix more than food and water. She loved to spend time with her family especially her beloved granddaughter, Nadia, who she refered to as her "Wonder Woman".
She is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Winstead Hathcock.
Kim is survived by her husband, Jason Callahan of Cleveland, MS; children, Brendi Miller of Columbus, MS, Michael Miller (Shaciah), Austin Callahan, and Cherish Callahan all of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Nadia Miller of Cleveland, MS; father and step mother, George and Gloria Hathcock of Durant, MS; and step brothers, Shannon McLemore (Debbie) of Lexington, MS and Matthew McLemore (Tamara) of Grenada, MS.
In leiu of flowers, the family requests donations made in honor of Kim to the American Cancer Society.
