La'niayah Grimes

La'niayah "Nia"Isabel Grimes, 8 months, of Drew, passed away April 16, 2014. Visitation will be 11-12 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Mt. Levy M.B in Charleston. Celebration of Life Services will follow beginning at 12 p.m. with Pastor James Moore and Pastor Ivy Board officiating. Interment will be in Drew Cemetery beginning at 2:30.
She was born on July 27, 2013, in Grenada, to Latron Neal Grimes and Briana Nicole Vasquez. La'niayah loved to laugh and smile, her family called her "Little Angel," she enjoyed looking out the windows, playing with her dog, and riding her horsie. Her first words were "Dada," and last words were "Mama." She looked like her daddy.
La'niayah is survived by her parents. Latron Neal Grimes and Briana Nicole Vasquez; maternal grandparents, Maria Gutierrez, and Baldwin Burroughs of Drew; paternal grandparents, Sharon Grimes and Larry Grimes of Drew; great-grandparents, Lula Burroughs and Maria Vasquez; uncles, Brian Vasquez of Drew, Koriunte Harris of Benoit, and Larry Grimes of Drew; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
