Donita Gentry Beach

Laura Donita Gentry Beach 77, of Cleveland, MS was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022.  A visitation honoring Mrs. Donita will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 a.m.  Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Ray Funeral Home  Graveside will proceed in the North Cleveland Cemetery.

Donita was born on March 5, 1945, to Everett Brooks Gentry & Laura Marguerite Gentry in Houston, MS. After attending grade school, and many years later she married the love her life Percy Lee Beach. Donita was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, & great grandmother. In her past time, she enjoyed fellowshipping with family and friends especially when it came to a game of Bingo. Donita had a passion for art especially painting. Most of all, Donita was passionate about her family and loving her Lord and Savior.

Donita is preceded in passing by her parents, Everett & Laura Gentry; her loving husband Percy Lee Beach; and sister, Felicia Robinson.  

Donita is survived by her six children, Jimmy Everett Gentry (Anita) of Cleveland, MS, James Earl Beach (Lisa) of Cleveland, MS, Felicia Caswell (John Noodles) of Cleveland, MS, Michael Shane Beach (Crystal) of Cleveland, MS, Derrick Lynn Beach (Kristi) of Cleveland, MS, and Jeff King (Stacie); siblings, Dawn Smith of Helena, AL, Dianne Oswalt (David) of Amory, MS, Karen Timmons (Larry) of Paducah, KY, Robin Parfait of Cleveland, MS, Mae Sbravati (Tim) of Cleveland, MS, and Steve Gentry of Hernando, MS; 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; and a special loving companion, Prissy. A special thank you to Renee (her caretaker) and neighbor, Mr. Banks.
