Laura Yolanda Ybarra

Laura Yolanda Ybarra, 29, of Merigold, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland. A Rosary will immediately follow beginning at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery. Laura was born on July 21, 1986, to Florencio Ybarra and Mary Palacios Ybarra. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School in 2004, and went on to further her education by obtaining a degree in 2009 with studies in Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences from Delta State University. A girl who was always recognized by her beautiful smile, in her spare time she enjoyed talking, watching movies, crafting, and singing. She truly loved the outdoors, cowboy boots and Rayban Sunglasses, riding back roads, hunting, and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Julian Palacios and Manuela Palacios; and her paternal grandmother, Berta Ibarra. Laura is survived by her parents, Florencio Ybarra and Mary P. Ybarra of Merigold; paternal grandfather, Abdon Ibarra; brother, Luis A. Ybarra (Natalie) of Brookhaven; nieces, Finley and Ellie Brooke Ybarra of Brookhaven; aunts and uncles, Janie Stadelbacher (Rick) of Cleveland, Jessie Palacios (Donna) of Cleveland, Paula Phillips (Jimmy) of Greenville, Martha Bullock (Steven) of Merigold, Juanita Ibarra Santa-Cruz (Miguel) of GTO, Mexico, Ignacio Ibarra (Cleotilde) of El Paso, TX, Luis Ibarra (Hilaria) of Houston, TX, Francisco Ibarra ((Laura) of McAllen, TX, Bertha Ibarra Padron (Juan) of Houston, TX, Carmella Rodriguez (Jorge) of Killeen, TX, Milagros Ibarraof GTO, Mexico, Jose Jeno Ibarra (America) of Mexico City, Mexico, Jose Eleno Ibarra (Lucy) of Houston, TX, and Jose Regulo Ibarra (Lisa) of Houston, TX; and numerous beloved cousins and extended family. Pallbearers will be Nicci Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Matthew Palacios, Brandon Palacios, Paul Stadelbacher, and David Palacios. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Bullock and Thomas Sewell.
