MR. Lawrence LeRoy (Larry) Line, aged 80, died at his home in Cleveland, MS, on July 28, 2011. A Requiem Eucharist will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church, Cleveland, MS at eleven o' clock on Monday, August 1, 2011. Family visitation in the Rayner House will preceded at ten o'clock.
A native of Michigan, Mr. Line was the son of the late Robert Arthur and Viola Gertrude Kessel Line. He was a graduate of Marshall High School in Marshall, MI, and of the University of Kentucky with a degree in engineering. He married Cheryl Walker of Cleveland in 1960.
Mr. Line worked as an engineer in Ohio. He moved to Cleveland, MS in 1979 and established and owned International Tours, a travel agency, until his retirement in 1997.
Mr. Line served in the United State Air Force for four years during the Korean War. A choir member and life long Episcopalian, Mr. Line was a communicant of Calvary Episcopal Church. He was an Eagle Scout, a Little League coach, an avid tennis player and a former Rotarian.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl; sons, Dr. Lance Line (Marcia) of Hattiesburg; Rush Line (Judy) of Pittsburg, PA; and Robert Line (Tish) of Hattiesburg; and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be sent to Calvary Episcopal Church, Cleveland, MS.
