Ms. Lena Brunetti, 94, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with Father Kent Bowlds presiding. Ms. Brunetti was born in Ancona, Italy to Alexander Brunetti and Elisa Pieroni Brunetti on July 21, 1920. She was an excellent cotton farmer, extraordinary care taker, wonderful cook. She did everything from beautician, to LPN, to a cook on the River Boat. She made many loaves of bread for various charities, and was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. She moved to Rosedale, MS from Connecticut to take care of her father and siblings after her mother's passing, and she even cared for her nieces and nephews after her brother's passing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Brunetti and Elisa Pieroni Brunetti; brothers, Guido Brunetti, Sam Brunetti, Alex Brunetti, Vincent Brunetti, and Finley Brunetti; and sisters, Clara Brunetti Tonelli and Lina Brunetti. Ms. Brunetti is survived by sister, Frances Brunetti Wilson of Cleveland; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thanks to Grace Community Hospice and her caregivers: Patricia Thompson, Gloria Thompson, Patricia Thomas, Doris Hurst, and Willie Mae Davis, ; and her devoted friend and neighbor, Betty Noblin.
