Leonard Hiter

Mr. Leonard Mathis Hiter, 54, of Merigold, MS, passed away at his home. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Merigold Methodist Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Merigold Methodist Church in Merigold, MS at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Billy Owen officiating. Burial will follow services in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Hiter was born in Ruleville, MS to Mary Solomon and Henry Park Hiter, Sr. on April 25, 1956. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Solomon Hiter; father, Henry Park Hiter, Sr.; and sister, Jann Partee.
Mr. Hiter is survived by his brothers, Henry Park Hiter, Jr. (Linda) of Merigold, MS and Chris Partee of Cleveland, MS; sisters Lucy Hiter Wingett of San Carlos, CA and Liz Partee Sutton of Albany, CA; step-mother, Martha Partee Hiter of Cleveland, MS.
