Mrs. Linda Coleman was called home to be with Lord on December 21, 2020.A visitation will be held from 9-9:45am at Ray Funeral Home with a Graveside service to follow at 11:30 am in Crowder, MS at the Crowder City Cemetery. Mask are required to attend visitation and service Linda had a love for all things MS. During her years on the Gulf Coast she was a devoted friend of the Walter Anderson family and the forthcoming Walter Anderson Museum. As she relocated to Cleveland to pursue her doctoral degree at DSU Linda embraced the culture of the "Delta" particularly the Blues. There was no lapse between her retirement from education to her volunteer service to Grammy Museum MS. Prior to the museum's opening in March 2016 until her death Linda served as a founding member of the Teacher Advisory Council. The "Dream Team" was integral to the development of educational programming. Linda is survived by: One brother, Rick and Betty Senior,one sister, Dee Coleman Denton(Mitchell R. Lewis) Niece,Wendy Senior, Karen Senior,Niece all of England Nephew, R.L. âTrey' Denton and Dr. Julie Denton of Madison MS In Lieu of Flowers the family request everyone to donate to Blair E Bateson Children's Hospital
