Lisa Estridge went to be with Lord on January 26, 2025, at the age of 61. Visitation will be January 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.
Lisa was born on February 5, 1963, in the Mississippi Delta, to Alan and Mary Gentry. Lisa embraced life with an open heart and a spirit that always saw the good in everyone around her even if they weren’t good. Her kindness and positivity touched the lives of many, and her memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
Lisa graduated from Pillow Academy. Lisa excelled in high school, particularly in band, which earned her a scholarship to continue her passion for music at Mississippi Delta College. This is where she met the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Estridge. They married in 1982. Her accomplishments during those formative years laid a strong foundation for her life ahead.
Lisa had a distinguished career at Precision Delta, where she dedicated 27 years of her life. A testament to her work ethic and commitment, she was respected by her colleagues and admired for her unwavering professionalism.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Estridge, and parents, Alan and Mary Gentry.
Lisa is survived by her two loving daughters, Sarah Kathyrn Hazzard (Peter) and Melissa Norquist (Michael); four cherished grandchildren, Carter Luke Hazzard, Thomas Hayes Hazzard, Dawson Norquist, and Maycee Kate Norquist; mother-in-law, Betty Estridge; and best friend, Carol Cowsert, Lisa’s family was her pride and joy. She delighted in the moments spent with her loved ones, and her love for the outdoors and her "fur babies" brought her immense happiness throughout her life.
Lisa Estridge will be deeply missed, her presence forever felt in the hearts of those she loved. Her legacy of kindness and compassion remains a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
