Loretta Lynn Houston

Mrs. Loretta “Lynn” Houston went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Greenville, MS. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22 from 11 a.m-12 p.m. at Greater Faith Tabernacle in Greenville, MS. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12.
Lynn was born on April 26, 1964 to Finis Ray Bolen and Mary Lou Moore Ballard in Shaw, MS. She grew up in the Mississippi Delta where she attended Leland High School. After grade school, she went in to retail. She worked in retail for over 30 years. Lynn was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Glenn Bolen.
She is survived by her husband, Sammy Houston; her children, Mary Jenkins(Tommy) of Greenville, MS, Samuel Dale Houston Jr. (Dana) of Jackson, MS, Jason Wade Houston of Jackson, MS, and Christopher Houston of Leland, MS; two siblings, Annette Moore (Tim) of Nashville, TN, and Yvonne Thompson(Larry) of Greenville, MS; and ten grandchildren.
