Mary Louise Chicorelli Favi, 83, of Shelby went to be with the Lord Friday, October 23, 2020. A visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby, MS with Mass following. Father Raju and Father Kent Bowlds will be officiating. Pallbearers are Logan Roberts, William Roberts, Peyton Favi, Charles Chicorelli Jr., Chris Chicorelli, and Charlie Heinsz. Family requests that the Visitation and Funeral Mass be private with family only. The Graveside Service is open to public. Lou was born September 11, 1937 to James and Jeanette Chicorelli. She married David William Favi on February 2, 1958 in Shelby, MS. She has a master's in education and retired after 30 years of teaching. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby, MS.
She is preceded by her parents, James and Jeanette Chicorelli; brother, James Chicorelli; sisters, Madeline Chicorelli, Josephine Ferri, and Jeanette Hosack. Lou is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Favi; daughters, Leslie Roberts (Taylor) and Beverly Short (Jerry); sons, Steve Favi (Robyn) and Ted Favi (Jennifer); brother, Charles Terry Chicorelli (Peggy); grandchildren, Logan Roberts (Molly), William Roberts (Amanda), Meghan Crotwell (Lance), Peyton Favi, Meri Taylor Favi Pickle (John) Olivia McComb, Grayson McComb, Sarah Short Scott, and Callie Short Reed (Will); great grandchildren, Griffin Roberts, Nora Roberts, Olivia Crotwell, Everly Crotwell, Fletcher and Hugh Pickle, Addie Jane Reed, Layla Reed, Alex Reed, Ava Knight Stewart, and Charlee Atkinson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
