Louise Ferri Giaccaglia, 79, of Shelby, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at her home. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013, with services immediately following beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shelby. Interment will be in Shelby Cemetery.
Mrs. Giaccaglia was born in Cleveland on September 13, 1934, to George Ferri, Sr. and Isolina "Lizzie" Agostinelli Ferri. She married David Joe Giaccaglia on November 18, 1954. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed making homemade pasta especially spaghetti, was a volunteer to numerous organizations, was a caregiver for many people through the years; and loved cooking and being with her family .
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Ferri, Sr. and Isolina "Lizzie" Agostinelli Ferri; and husband, David Joe Giaccaglia.
Mrs. Giaccaglia is survived by her daughter, "Debbie" Louise Warner of Greenville
; sons, David "Quinn" Gaiccaglia of Shelby and Jeffery George "Jeff" Giaccaglia (Laura Jane) of Merigold; two grandchildren, Leann Boswell and David Lee Warner; one great-grandchild, Hunter Alexander Warner; sisters, Mary Franceschini, Angie Blythe, Betty Tarsi (Victor), and Allene Bouler; and brother, George Ferri, Jr..
Pallbearers will be Victor Tarsi, Charles Chicorelli, Darrell Malatesta, David Warner, Glen Radicioni, and Benjamin Ferri.
In memory of Mrs. Giaccaglia, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
