Mamie Lee Adams, 90 of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, in her home. Mamie was born on October 13, 1929, in Paine, MS, to James Miller and Ann Farris. She worked at Baxter Health Care for over thirteen years. Not long after marrying W. E. Adams of Shelby, she began helping on their farm. Mamie loved to cook and crotchet, and she enjoyed being a stay at home mom. Most of all, Mamie loved her Lord and Savior and spent the rest of her days gathered around her family. She is preceded in death by her late husband, W.E. Adams; parents, James Miller and Ann Farris; and first husband, Wayne Daughtery; siblings, JT Miller, Claude "Bud" Miller, and CW Miller. Mamie is survived by her daughter, Julie Daughtery Mei (Jimmy); granddaughter, Jami Mei (Evette); and great granddaughter, Austynn Mei.
