Margaret Ida Aguzzi

Mrs. Margaret Ida Aguzzi, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland, MS. A rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016. A second visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, with Mass of Christian burial immediately following beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kent Bowlds officiating. Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Aguzzi was born in Lake Village, AR, on September 30, 1928, to Joseph "Joe" Mazzanti and Adele Micci Mazzanti. On November 24, 1947, she married Joseph E. "Joe" Aguzzi in Lake Village, AR. She was a very active member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church as well as within her community, and she dearly loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Adele Mazzanti; brothers, Mike Mazzanti, Joe Mazzanti, and Italo Mazzanti; and sisters, Dell Mazzanti and Sister Concetta Mazzanti. Mrs. Aguzzi is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joe Aguzzi; children, John Aguzzi (Sharon), Ronnie Aguzzi (Brenda), Regina Howarth (Jack), Rose Anne McKnight (Ernie), Mary Jo Roark (Fred), Celia Manley (Scott), and Joseph Aguzzi, Jr. (Sha); grandchildren, John Aguzzi, Jr. (Betsy), Michael Aguzzi, Tricia Vargas (Robert), Christen Davis (Justin), Amber Smith (Kyle), Amanda Holloway (Brandon), Regan Burd (Cliff), Austin McKnight, Jake Howarth, Micci Worsham (Drew), Mallory Dill (Cody), Mary Margaret Roark, Winn Roark, Chase Aguzzi, Joanna Aguzzi, and Nat McKnight (Robin); great-grandchildren, John Thomas Aguzzi , Ayden Aguzzi, Addison Vargas, Landon Vargas, Brantly Davis, Braden Davis, Bailey Smith, Garner Smith, Ann Howarth Holloway, Jackson Holloway, Kate Holloway, Ellis Burd, Carson Worsham, Tabb Worsham, Reid McKnight, Rhett McKnight, Annaelise Dill, and Tucker Dill; sisters, Lena Mazzanti and Catherine Distrito; brothers, Edwin Mazzanti, John Mazzanti, and Pete Mazzanti; and a host of beloved extended family members. Pallbearers will be John Aguzzi, Jr., Michael Aguzzi, Austin McKnight, Jake Howarth, Winn Roark, and Chase Aguzzi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Mississippi 855 S. Pear Orchard Rd. Suite 501, Ridgeland, MS 39157, Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church 215 Bishop Rd. Cleveland, MS 38732, and/or the charity of your choice.
