Margie Millican went to be with Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at North Cleveland Cemetery. Bro. Brad Beckwith will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Brown, Don McCain, Manuel Harris, Brandon Millican, Dudley Tribble, and Clint Millican. Honorary Pallbearers Tim Wilson, Mitch Millican, Mike Millican, and Kenny Millican.
Margie was born October 6, 1938, in Merigold, MS to Fred and Erma Stone. She married Kenneth Millican on July 3, 1957, in Merigold, MS. Margie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS which she loved dearly. Margie was a dedicated individual whose career revolved around purchasing at Delta State University. She had a passion for reading and traveling, hobbies that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Beyond her professional achievements, she found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life and making unforgettable memories with those she held dear. Margie was a loving soul who adored her family, with a special place in her heart for her children. In the hearts of those who knew her best, Margie will forever be remembered for her warm nature and unwavering love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Erma Stone; her loving husband, Kenneth Millican; and son-in-law, Scott Brown.
Margie is survived by her sons, Kenny Millican (Debbie), Mike Millican (Lora), Mitch Millican (Sheila); daughter, Kim Brown; and her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Millican, Tiffany Millican, Allen Millican, Laurie Ross, Tyler Ross, Holly Millican, Monica Pence, Madison Harris, Nicholas Brown, and Mykenzi Brown; seven great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Her legacy lives on through the memories shared by family and friends. Margie's presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
