In memories shared by those who knew her, Marjorie is often described as a warm, welcoming person who could light up a room with her kindness. She graduated from Bayou Academy and continued her education at Delta State University, receiving a bachelor’s in business. She met her husband when she was just 15 at the bowling alley, a cherished memory that reflects her loving nature and ability to forge lasting relationships.
Marjorie dedicated a significant portion of her life to being a stay-at-home mom, during which time she also found joy in selling Avon products. The love of her family provided her with immense joy and fulfillment throughout her life. Anytime there was any party, field trip, or ball game for Connor, you would always find her there. She grew to love all of Connor’s friends and their families as if they were her own. You would often hear a chorus of “Hey Mauri!” whenever she walked in.
