Mr. David Mark Worsham, 61, of Benoit, MS went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021 in Memphis, TN. A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Blue Mountain Cemetery from 1-2 p.m. in Blue Mountain, MS with a Graveside Service immediately following at 2 p.m. Masks are required to attend. Mark was born on March 19, 1959 in Grenada, MS to Rev. Homer Allen Worsham and Dorothy Wilson Worsham. He graduated from Marshall Academy in 1977 in Holly Springs, MS. He then went on to Blue Mountain College where he graduated with his BA in Biblical studies in 1981. He married the love of his life, Tammie Britton Worsham, in 1981. He worked for the Home Mission Board as a US2 missionary and served as a Southern Baptist Pastor for more than 40 years. He was an avid fan of the Andy Griffith show. He loved making puns and telling jokes, taking trips to the Smoky Mountains, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Most of all, he loved doing anything with his wife Tammie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Homer Allen Worsham; and his daughter, Jacquelyn Hope Worsham. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tammie Worsham; four daughters, Jennifer Worsham Powell (Dr. Brandon Powell) of Florence, MS., Jessica Worsham Webb (Rev. Jason Webb) of Magee, MS., Joy Beth Worsham of New Orleans, LA., and Jordan Worsham Reed (Rev. Ryan Reed) of Bruce, MS; grandchildren, Brandon Andrew "Andy" Powell, Jr., Ava Claire Powell, Benjamin Haddon "Ben" Powell, Katherine Jean "Katie" Powell, Eva Kate Webb, Easton Gerald Webb, Homer Knox Reed, and Lottie Ruth Reed; and one brother, Daniel Allen "Danny" Worsham (Charlotte Worsham). "The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Dr. James L. Travis Ministerial Scholarship Fund at Blue Mountain Colleg, P.O.
