Martha Sizemore
Martha Sizemore, 72, of Boyle passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 5:00 p.m. until 8:00. Services will be Friday, July 6, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland Burial will be 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS, With Bro. Billy Owen officiating.
Mrs. Sizemore was born to Clowie and Helen Rogers Sizemore, on June 21, 1940; she lived in Skene until 1951 when she moved to Boyle with her family, where she lived until 3 years ago, when she moved in with her niece in Carrollton, MS. She grew up riding and showing horses in AQHA shows and Bolivar County Riding Club until just a few years ago. She was a member of the Boyle Methodist Church for many years. She went to Cleveland High and Delta State until she went to work for Baxter where she worked until she retired after 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clowie and Helen Sizemore, Sister, Susan Sizemore Brooks.
She is survived by a niece, Elizabeth Brooks Dugger and Husband, Steve of Carrollton. A nephew Allen Brooks and Wife Jessica of York Pa., a nephew Joseph "Max" Brooks of New Orleans LA., A niece Kim Brooks of York Pa., a niece Rhonda Brooks of Oxford, MS. , and 8 great nieces and nephews.
She was a great friend to anyone that knew her and would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. Her heart was made of gold with love for people and animals. She will be greatly missed here on Earth but will be an amazing angel watching over all of us.
Pallbearers will be, Scott Smith, William Henson, Butch Morgan, Kevin Avant, Austin Jennings, Jessie Martinez, Johnny Doty, and Wade Springer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Henson, Joe Crawford, Mike McCain, Dan Bell, Bobby Hart, Grady Carpenter, and Terry Thomas.
A special thanks to, Brandy Avant, Anita Byrd, Dixie Carpenter, Anderson Pharmacy, Greenwood Cancer Center, and Bonita Henson.
