Mary Anna DeLoach, 75, of Rosedale, passed away Thursday, February 06, 2014, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Rosedale United Methodist Church. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Rosedale United Methodist Church with Rev. Diane Elliot officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. DeLoach was born November 25, 1938, in Cleveland, to William Edward Pentecost and Lou Anna Herbison. On December 29, 1957, she married Bobby Gene DeLoach in Litton, MS. She taught school for the Rosedale School District for 35 years, and was a member of Rosedale United Methodist Church. She loved animals, especially her beloved dog, "Rocky"; enjoyed playing bingo with her friends; and she loved her family very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Lou Anna Pentecost; and her husband, Bobby Gene DeLoach.
Mrs. DeLoach is survived by her three daughters, Deb Kurts (Bubba) of Long Beach, MS, Liz Ellis (Noel) of Savannah, GA, and Angie Parish of Boyle; 6 grandchildren, Blake Kurts (Susan), Cade Ellis, Kelsey Ellis, Jodi Barnett (Johnny), Ashley Nelms, and Taylor Parish; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan Barnett, Cori Barnett, and Jackson Nelms.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Kurts, Noel Ellis, Blake Kurts, Cade Ellis, Johnny Barnett, Nathan Barnett, William Odom, and Homer Gant. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Barnes and George Scott.
In memory of Mrs. DeLoach, donations may be made to the Rosedale United Methodist Church and/or the Bolivar County Animal Shelter.
